Thanks to the 24 students (and teachers) from Sint Michiel School for the yummy food and enthusiastic service for our shows in Leopoldsburg, Belgium – you did a great job!
Both nights in Leopoldsburg were completely sold out and we even had a standing ovation on the second night so overall a complete success.

Groningen: happiest city in the EU even happier in February 2014!
This week Groningen ended up in the top three of happiest cities in Europe, after research conducted by the European Commission. On February 18th 2014 Faulty Towers The Dining Experience will set foot in Groningen for the first time ever. Is there a chance that the happiest city in Europe will become even happier?
Thousands of dinner guests from all over the world have enjoyed the show, based on the BBC’s hit series “Fawlty Towers”. Just last week the show was on in Rotterdam, leaving behind many a happy guest. Some Rotterdam guests and many others even wrote rave reviews about us on Tripadvisor. The Dutch theatre website Theaterparadijs said the show has ‘fantastic acting’ and ‘magnificent improvisation’.
So to all you happy folks in Groningen: come and show the Faulty’s you were definitely gifted with some humour. They will be at the lovely NH Hotel Groningen 18 – 23 February next year.

TV Limburg Interview

Missing in Zwolle

At the Odeon de Spiegel, Zwolle there was some super speedy table service in an amazingly decorated room. Zwolle currently holds the records for the fastest Faulty Towers table service at 4 minutes 50 seconds for a room of over 100. A big thank you to Annette and Ton for inviting the Faulty team back!
We also, sadly, lost an important member of the team when a plastic fish was taken. Any information leading to his return should be tweeted @thefaultytowers.
Romance in the air in Schiedam
Fact of the day:
“Toi toi toi!” is the Dutch equivalent of the English saying, “break a leg!”
Netherlands Tour update! Last week at the Theater Aan Die Schie, Schiedam took breaking the boundaries between performer and actor to a new level with tables set up on stage in a large theatre auditorium. Manuel (Anthony) likes to try and play cupid during the show and we think that this week he might have had some success – Stefan and Rosalieka, if you’re reading this, let us know if you ever went on that date!
